As congregants of Second Unitarian, we have many changes coming our way in the next year, the biggest of which will be hiring a developmental minister to work with our congregation and move us towards our goals. There will, of course, be a stewardship campaign to fund those goals but there is more to this effort than just numbers. Stewardship is grounded in our religious values and this year, we’d like to spend some time exploring how stewardship and religious identity tie together. Ed Bok and Cheri Cody were inspired by an interview with The Rev. Galen Guengerich, Ph.D., senior minister of All Souls Unitarian Church in New York City. From that, Ed will be putting together these stewardship moments to articulate how it all comes together for us at Second Unitarian.
